The series is about Rand al´Thor a young farmer boy and his friends, who lives in a little village called Edmonsvall. His life changes one night when he and his fathers' farm are attacked by Trollocs (shadowspawn). He flies with his friends an Aes Sedai (women who wield the One Power) and her warder. And they begin there journey to Tar Valon were they hope to be safe.
